It turns out to be more complicated. While the account that created it is "Trump Fan" -- apparently that is run by a WH communications staffer, according to a leak.
I just double-checked, and I may have misinterpreted what I'd read. The official WH TikTok did share it, but that doesn't mean it was a WH creation. Although this bunch? I would not put it past them at all. Regardless, it was inappropriate either way of course!
I would have wagered on Iran if Kalshi had a trade. And I would have lost. Kalshi had "Khameini out of power" but not "US attacks Iran" because they don't want to create a market in war. Polymarket did have an Iran war trade but most Americans can't trade on Polymarket yet.
