Its hard to believe that even the audience on the right would not be a bit cringed by Carla. Does she have any background in understanding markets and finance? Might not have been a fair fight. Agree the commentator did a good job of giving Carla a voice but tactifully challenging her arguements.
NewsNation needs to find a better person to balance if they are concerned with balance at all. Carla was way off on her own putting up political points for questions that are technical in nature. What has threat from the Mullah regime have to with the American economy? How did she get 55 million on H1-B visas and illegals when they started out with 13 million illegals and the H1-B new visa issuance is capped at 85,000 per year? Pew Research estimates the illegals are around 11 million in 2016, and Trump himself claimed that the estimates are wrong and the number is 30 million in his campaign in 2015 (just like his claim that unemployment rate was 40%). So all of a sudden the illegals have gone to 55 million -- why doesn't she say 100 million while she's at it? Trumpsters don't check facts anyway.

They have the same old, tired tropes to offer about foreign-born people being the root of all our problems. Well, I'm a foreign-born person who finished grad school here and then had a reasonably successful 30-year corporate career... the "commie" Ronald Reagan was the one who let me into the US for grad school, the "well-known socialist" GHW Bush helped me get my H-1B on his way out of the WH, and then I became a citizen under the "radical left" GW Bush administration 20 years ago! This Republican party has sadly lost its moral bearings.
